A Bed Full of...

Day 136
The Daily DuBrule

I planted a melon the other day in one of my raised beds. If you look closely you can see a couple of green leaves in the background behind the garlic leftover from two years ago. I had to make room amongst a sea of self sown seedlings from a couple of plants that grew up the hill in the courtyard the year before. I would LOVE to dig a bunch of these up and move them around the garden, in fact I will have to when I get serious about filling this bed with edibles. Wait a minute, this actually is an edible plant. Not that I grow it for that reason, nor do I harvest it and eat it. Anyone know what it is?

  1. That same Amaranthus self seeds all over my garden too. Unfortunately I haven't had the best luck moving the seedlings.
